The Country Club of Church

We continue in our series, "Life Together" , as we take at how Jesus calls Matthew to be His disciple. So often, when it comes to people who are new to the church, and even those already within the fellowship of the church, we can be so quick to judge others and not make room to include them in God's grace. Today, we reflect on how Jesus calls Matthew, a known tax collector, and how He engages with sinners as those He has come to engage in redemption. In contrast, we also see how Jesus challenges the "in crowd" (the Pharisees) in challenging them to be merciful over holding to their rigid and judgmental systems of acceptance and love. We hope you are convicted and encouraged in God's wisdom!
