[October 24, 2021] EPC Sunday Sermon Reflection Questions

1. The entirety of the church is built on the wisdom and authority of Jesus as the "head of the church". There is nothing apart from His example and guidance as we are given good order in the Gospel. As we measure ourselves against God's standard of leading and following:
a. Are you a good "leader" and/or "follower" according to Paul's definition?
b. What do you struggle with in both capacities?
2. How does our personal (and perhaps sometimes even the worldly view of authority) view of "leadership" impact how we see leaders and whether we follow them as God calls us to? What is at odds when it comes to earthly authority versus leading in the Gospel?
3. What are some ways that you can grow and mature in actively supporting your leaders today?
4. What are some ways in which you can serve and build the body in taking on the loving responsibility of leading in your context?
